TRC Changemakers Shine at the American Public Health Association Annual Meeting

Greetings, Raleigh Community!

We are thrilled to share some exciting news from The Resiliency Collaborative (TRC). Yesterday, our TRC Changemakers had the incredible opportunity to attend the American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting and Expo in Atlanta, and we couldn’t be more proud of their accomplishments.

The APHA Annual Meeting is a prestigious gathering that brings together public health professionals, researchers, advocates, and changemakers from around the world to discuss pressing issues and share innovative solutions. It’s a platform where ideas are exchanged, partnerships are formed, and progress is made toward creating healthier communities.

Our TRC Changemakers represented our organization with professionalism, passion, and dedication. They showcased the impactful work they’ve been doing in our community to promote equity, resilience, and well-being, and their efforts did not go unnoticed. We are delighted to report that they received a multitude of compliments regarding their work and professionalism—an affirmation of their commitment to making a difference.

We couldn’t be prouder of our TRC Changemakers and all that they’ve accomplished. Their dedication to serving their community and advocating for positive change is truly inspiring, and we are grateful to have them as part of the TRC family.

We also want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our friends at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. Their support and partnership have been instrumental in providing our TRC Changemakers with opportunities like attending the APHA Annual Meeting. Together, we are working to create a healthier, more equitable future for all.

As we reflect on yesterday’s events, we are filled with gratitude for our TRC Changemakers, our partners at UNC Gillings, and all those who support our mission. It’s moments like these that remind us of the power of collaboration, resilience, and community in driving positive change.

Moving forward, we are more inspired than ever to continue our work and to empower the next generation of leaders to create a brighter future for us all. Together, we can make a difference.
