That’s why TRC partners with Oak Tree Tutors, a Wake County nonprofit dedicated to free, high-quality tutoring for high school students. Through this partnership, TRC connects our students with Oak Tree’s team of background-checked, highly trained tutors — former WCPSS teachers, college students, and community volunteers — for personalized, one-on-one support tailored to each student’s needs.
Whether a student needs help mastering a subject, wants to build stronger study habits, or is looking for consistent, judgment-free support as they work toward their next step in school, career, or life, TRC is here to help connect them with the right resources.
How it works:
TRC students are matched with the same Oak Tree tutor each week for one-on-one sessions, available in-person or virtually. Requests are made directly through Oak Tree Tutors.
