Noel Hernandez

Program Manager

Noel is the Youth Programs Manager at The Resiliency Collaborative (TRC), where he leads youth-centered initiatives designed to foster leadership, resilience, and social-emotional development among youth. His journey began in 2020 as an intern, and through a demonstrated commitment to advancing equity and community wellness, he transitioned into program leadership – first as Program Coordinator in early 2024, and later as Youth Programs Manager that November.

A first-generation Latino college student, Noel is currently pursuing an Associate of Applied Science in Social and Human Services at Wake Technical Community College. He aspires to continue his academic trajectory through advanced graduate studies, ultimately earning a Doctor of Social Work (DSW) degree. His long-term vision is to lead The Resiliency Collaborative as Executive Director, while also establishing a private clinical counseling practice dedicated to dismantling stigma and improving mental health outcomes for young men.

In addition to his work at TRC, Noel is a Membership Engagement Specialist at the Poyner YMCA, where he supports community wellness and member development initiatives. Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys working out at the gym, spending quality time with loved ones, and playing video games.
