Kianna Redetzke joined The Resiliency Collaborative as a Program Coordinator in 2023. As an undergraduate Social Work student at North Carolina State University, Kianna is passionate about connecting with her community to understand where change is wanted and truly needed. She believes in the powerful presence of young people and is so grateful to be part of an organization that fosters leadership and resilience.
Guided by James Baldwin’s words, “The world is before you, and you need not take it or leave it as it once was when you came in,” Kianna approaches her work, believing that change is possible and necessary. Kianna plans to pursue a career in public policy or law, aiming to bring a social work perspective to policy and advocacy. In her free time, she enjoys trying new foods, taking pictures, and spending quality time with others!
