Our
Story
The Resiliency Collaborative (TRC) was established in 2022 in response to the dual challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and long-standing systemic inequities. Youth and families, particularly in historically under-invested communities, were facing isolation, barriers to well-being, and limited access to resources. TRC was created as both a safe space and a catalyst for change: a place where young people could strengthen their voice, resilience, and leadership.
From the beginning, we have centered youth at every stage of our work. Early efforts focused on addressing social isolation and mental health needs while supporting academic success. Over time, we expanded to include leadership development, mentoring, wellness education, and community engagement. Programs such as the Changemakers internship and HOPE Seekers peer-led curriculum have created spaces for youth to lead, collaborate, and drive change in their schools and neighborhoods.
Today, we partner with high school students and families to cultivate the conditions for youth to thrive academically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. With a holistic model that combines academic support, mental health resources, and leadership opportunities, we provide youth with the skills and confidence to take their next step, whether college, career, or community leadership.
At our core, we believe that when young people are seen, supported, and given the opportunity to lead, they not only transform their own lives but also strengthen families and communities for generations to come.
